The helmet itself impresses with a lightweight composite fiberglass shell and a comfortable, modular design. The ventilation system with four air inlets ensures a constant air flow. The *Impulse* is equipped with a retractable sun visor that protects the rider from excessive glare. It is Pinlock-prepared. The ratchet strap keeps the *Impulse comfortably and securely in place while riding. Also noteworthy is the LED taillight. It provides a plus in passive riding safety.
The integrated Sena mesh and Bluetooth intercom technology in the Sena *Impulse* provides connectivity with any current Sena device. Typical for Sena here are the impressive performance data. Amazing, the possible ranges (Bluetooth up to two kilometers, 4 drivers and Internet up to eight kilometers, via Internet almost unlimited number of drivers). This communication technology is complemented by first-class speakers and a microphone seamlessly integrated into the *Impulse*. Developed by the audio experts at Harman Kardon, they bring an unprecedented level of precision and clarity to helmet acoustics.
